Christmas Cupcakes

It's my favorite time of year so, of course, I love Christmas themed cookies and cupcakes.  I think these may be my all time favorites!

 

Halloween-ish Birthday

 

I did this cake a few weeks ago.  The little girl wanted a Halloween theme and mentioned spiders, but I don't think Mom was thrilled by that idea.  So I went with a different take on Halloween and a sweet spider.

I think it was a good compromise and super cute.

Purple Ombre Cake

This was for a bridal shower this weekend.  She told me her colors were purple, but there are a million different shades of purple.  I decided to cover all the bases and try an ombre cake!  I love the way this one turned out!  The whole ombre trend is huge right now, so I had seen several floating around the internet.  I think it is such a simple and chic cake.

Volcano Birthday Cake

 

Volcano Birthday cake I did a few months ago.  This one is chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting.

Classic anniversary cake

This was an anniversary cake I did a little while ago.  It's a very classic design with the black and white.  I think the simpler cakes always end up being my favorites.

Lilac Anniversary Cake

This cake was done a few months ago for an anniversary.  My photography skills are seriously lacking, so I didn't get a great picture.  It was super cute in person though, it's a little more modern than my usual.

Perfectly Pink

Pretty pink and glittery zebra cake

This was for a first birthday and their party theme was all things pink.  This was the first pink zebra cake I've done and I thought it turned out super cute!  With a little zebra smash cake to match.

Lego Cake

I must admit I was a little stumped when I was asked for a Lego birthday cake.  I looked around on the internet, but they were all going to take lots of fondant.  Not good for a kids cake, if you ask me.  So I came up with doing a stack of lego blocks, I think it turned our really cute!

Guitar Birthday Cake

This was for a 19 year old who is really in to music.  I had looked around to get some ideas for a guitar cake, but everything seemed to young.  I think this was the perfect mix and super cool!

Car Birthday Cake

 

I was in a hurry and didn't get great pictures of this one.  It was for a third birthday party and his mom is going to put toy cars and backhoes all around the bottom.  I love the layered birthday cakes, they are my favorite!

Browning Birthday Cake

Camo and zebra cakes have become two of my most popular.  For this one, I wanted to change up the camo a little bit.  I did the browning deer symbol on top in camo and the sides, with bright hunter's orange accents of course.

Devin's wedding cake

I'm fianlly getting around to posting cakes from the last month or so!  This was a wedding cake I did a few weeks ago.  The bride wanted something different and sent me a picture of what she had in mind.  I had never seen anything like it, it's a two-fer!  One side of the cake was the traditional white bride's cake and the other side chocolate groom's cake.  I think it turned out really well, I especially loved it in the setting.  The wedding was beautiful and I wish them the best!

I'm gearing up for wedding season.  I have several coming up soon and I was looking back through old pictures, and realized I had yet to post this one.  This was a groom's cake I did last October.  He was into team roping, so I piped the silhouettes on the top and their brand on the front, with rope detail.

What little boys are made of

This was for a baby shower a few months ago.  I had five million little girl ideas saved, but no little boy ones!  I finally thought of the saying "What are little boys made of?  Snips and snails and puppy dog tails"  I think it made a really cute cake!

 

Kaylee's Wedding

I've been swamped with projects lately, so I haven't done a very good job keeping up with my posting.  This was for a wedding I back in November.  I loved the colors she chose a bright blue with fall colored flowers.  I wish I had thought to get a picture of the rececption hall, they had  decorated beautifully!

This was for a little boy's birthday a few months ago.  She sent me a super cute invitation to match.  I think the little monsters turned out so cute!  The small purple monster was his smash cake.
